Paperback Writer

Labor markets differ from one another in that the power in the relationship between buyers and sellers rests on the demand and supply for each job. For instance, paperback writing tends to have a pretty large supply. A lot of people think they can hack it as a writer. As such, this market is really competitive, and you may have to give up some of your intellectual property to get someone to notice you. Then you have to weigh the costs and benefits of doing what the publisher wants. If you need a job, and you want to be a paperback writer, you shouldn't expect to make much money ... at least until you can prove yourself.
