The Jeffersons was a sit com that ran from 1975-1985. It dealt with the rise of an African-American couple who moved on up to a "deluxe apartment" as a result of George Jefferson's entrepreneurial skills. This song, performed by Jeff Barry and Ja’net DuBois is the title song from the show.
