The Battle of the sexes game has two Nash Equilibria. Each player prefers a different Nash Equilibrium. In experiments, to reach both Nash Equilibriums equally (alternate Nash Equilibrium), the two players have to coordinate. However, since each player tries to reach his/her preferred Nash Equilibrium, coordination is not easy. Communication, signaling, and sequencing moves can be a solution to this problem.
